We're High-Quality Laser cladding and additive manufacturing experts with a seamless, reliable experience that you can always trust.
Here at American Cladding Technologies, we are an independently owned laser cladding/hardfacing company. We use laser cladding – also known as laser metal deposition or Directed Energy Deposition (DED) – to protect, restore, and strengthen the surfaces of metal components. Our solutions improve wear resistance, protect from corrosion and erosion, and return parts to as-new condition.

Services
American Cladding Technologies uses Laser Metal Deposition (LMD) ― also known as laser cladding ― to enhance, restore and strengthen the surfaces of metal components with unprecedented Precision, Quality, & Reliability. Helping you through feasibility, qualification, serial production and up to on-site vertical integration is our daily routine. With annual powder deposition amounts now exceeding 32 tons, we’ve learned how to help you stay successful.

Hardfacing and Corrosion Resistant Overlay
Laser hardfacing applies a harder, tougher material to a base metal to improve wear performance and extend service life.
A thick layer (3 mm or 1/8 in.) of coating is applied to the surface of equipment to provide a corrosion – and erosion – resistant surface.

Restore and Fabrication
Laser metal deposition can be used to restore the original dimensions of a component for parts that are expensive to replace or are no longer available.
Boss / Profile Buildups
Using laser metal deposition, we can build up rough profiles (up to 3.5” thick) that can be machined to final dimensions.

Internal Diameter Cladding
ID cladding applies corrosion and wear-resistant coatings to the internal surfaces of tubes, pipes and other hard-to-reach places.

Component Repair
Our laser cladding processes can repair expensive components damaged through mis-machining, saving the cost of manufacturing a new part.

R&D - Feasibility
Our in-house laboratory provides an array of testing and consulting services.
