laser metal depositionOriginal Material Restoration

Bringing parts back to as-new condition

Techniques like overlays can also be used to restore the original dimensions of a component. For parts that are expensive to replace, or that are simply no longer available, you should consider restoring your components using the laser cladding process.

Metal components are now being restored to as-new condition in many industries using this process. Successful repairs include industrial gas turbine (IGT) components, aerospace engine components, industrial valves and seats, high value molds and dies, and a variety of other metal parts used in many industries. These repairs have been achieved on substrates as thin as 0.008 inches and with a virtually unlimited range of coating thicknesses.
